March 31, 2009. Harry, Jayden and me waiting expectantly at the hospital for Emerson to arrive. At 11:09 in the morning he made his entrance weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces and 19 inces long. He is perfect and darling. We are thrilled to have him here. Mom and Dad are doing very well too.

Last week, Jeff , Daniela, and Emma came over to say good bye to us. They have decided to relocate to Colorado from where Daniela and her family are originally from. Jeff has already gotten a job and they will be living with Daniela's aunt and uncle temporarily. The whole family came over to my house so we could say our goodbyes, for now. Jayden and Emma were so cute together. They were very interested in each other and Jayden kept wanting Emma to sit next to him or on his lap. Jayden is 22 months old and Emma is 5 months old.

Wayne is very busy these days with his print/web business. His office is full of printers that he is either working on and selling and he has to spend a lot of time there. Jayden decided that he wanted to help out his dad by trying to clean up the office because it is a totaly disaster!

Family Reunion

We had a bit of family reunion only because my cousin Joanne passed away. It was nice being able to see my cousins that I hadn't seen for awhile. Hopefully we will all be able to get together again sometime soon. It is hard for us to all meet in one placc, these days, since we are all spread out so much.

Thanksgiving 2008

This year for Thanksgiving we had my cousin Sharon and her husband Mark, Wayne, Kristen, and Jayden, Jean (Wayne's sister's mother-in-law) and Wayne's parent's Lun and Sarah over for Thanksgiving Dinner. Jeff and Daniela couldn't join us because they were still in the hospital from baby Emma's birth. We had a very nice dinner and the food turned out great!

Christmas Decorations

My New Kitchen!

In November we updated our kitchen by painting it brown and had Corian countertops put in. We also got a new sink! Here are pictures of the updates.

Kitchen Helper

My grandson, Jayden, came over to visit the other night. He was busy running around and getting into all my cupboards (he loves getting into the seasonings) and finally he was tired. So tired that he laid down on the kitchen floor and used the rug as a blanket!

Emma's Entry

At 6:00 A.M. this morning, November 20, 2007, our first granddaughter (second grandchild) was born. Her name is Emma Eileen Marie. My son's wife, Daniela, was 42 weeks pregnant and very anxious for the baby to be delivered. Finally, her doctor admitted her to the hospital to be induced last night at 6:00 P.M. She was in active labor for seven hours before baby Emma finally was born. Jeff is a very proud father and they are looking forward to getting some rest this afternoon. They will go home from the hospital on Thanksgiving morning.
